Aside from collaborating on a footwear project, Robert Geller’s involvement with Common Projects stretched into a full-fledged outfit, including cross-collaboration pieces such as a hat, trenchcoach, button up shirt, slim pant, razor thin belt, leather boots with removable spat and a suede weekend bag. BLEU DE PANAME SPRING 2010 LOOKBOOK

Here is a look at Bleu de Paname’s new look book for their Spring/Summer 2010 Collection which is entitled ‘Les Congés Payés’ (which translates as ‘Paid Leave’, a phrase we all like to hear over the summer break!). The collection is inspired by garments that support the aesthetic of free time, garments that can take you from day time adventures to night time soirees. The new collection which is entirely manufactured in France will be available from the 30th March 2010.

Australian cosmetics brand aesop opened a third london store in the fast-emerging shoreditch area. The new outlet fits right in, boasting a spartan chic interior that’s not only matching with the unassuming building it’s housed in but also this artsy part of town. EDWIN SPRING COLLECTION

Building on this year’s nautical trend, Edwin are basing the bulk of the new collection on a solid maritime theme and it looks top notch. You can’t help but be reminded of cliff faces and crashing waves whilst browsing through some of the clothing. Ships and anchors are also the dishes of the day and adorn a number of the tees and shirts on show. These additions compliment the denim well though and it should please the masses to know that Edwin are bringing back some denim classic cuts and fits along with brand new styles. SOREL PREMIUM PAC BOOT CVS

Sorel have released images of their latest boot that will be hitting stores in August. The 1964 Premium T style features a waxed canvas upper, water-sealed seams and a hand crafted waterproof vulcanized rubber shell with a herringbone outsole for extra grip on icy roads. The bulk on the shoe is kept to a minimum and the two color ways seem very simple – but well thought out. (Marcus Troy)

A new exciting retail venture has opened its doors during last year in Stockholm, Sweden. The Caliroots crew present you the new C Concept Store. The store interior was designed by Delin Arkitektur. Situated next to the Caliroots sneaker store, Six Feet Down, the C Concept Store was built from the ground up. Premium materials, such as black metal, leather and Italian marble were used to make sure that the store’s interior properly represents the brands represented. All furnite was custom made in Sweden. The pure concrete floor stands in nice contrast to the otherwise matte black furniture. C stands for Classic, Clean & Casual. And you can find brands like: Common Projects, Wood Wood, Levis LVC, Ransom, Medicom and many more.

I love the simplicity of New York based Bertelli bicycles. This protoype with a lovely vintage brooks saddle will be ready for sale on starting spring 2010. Every part is assembled by hand, finished and fine-tuned…really nice made!
